We are not going to tell you our margaritas are the best on Whyte Avenue. We are going to tell you we squeeze every lime by hand, we use 100 percent agave tequila in the house pour, and the only thing from a bottle is the tequila.
The classic is lime, agave and Tromba blanco, shaken hard and served on the rocks with a half salt rim. The spicy version adds jalapeño and a tajín rim. In summer we run a saskatoon berry margarita that sells out most weekends, and in December the cranberry-rosemary version shows up for the holiday parties.
Happy hour is 3 to 6 pm Monday to Friday at both locations, and the house marg drops to five dollars. Come sip, compare, and tell us where we rank.
